For over 45 years, the Brompton has been touted as an unmistakable foldable city bike. However, we found the 16-inch wheels quite “ shaky”. In 2022, we designed a different bicycle fork and a reinforcement to bring the old bicycle frame up to date. Since 2024, Brompton has also been offering a frame for 20-inch wheels.
